MLA introduces the Ready to Cook Series with Ranch Market and Chef Freddie Salim, offering a practical way to enjoy premium, halal, and consistently high-quality Australian beef.

Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) continues to deliver culinary inspiration featuring Australian beef to Indonesian consumers. Welcoming the year-end holiday season, MLA has collaborated with Ranch Market to introduce the Ready to Cook Series, a range of premium ready-to-cook menus designed to make enjoying high-quality dishes easy without complicated cooking processes. This initiative reflects MLA’s commitment to providing practical and relevant cooking solutions while maintaining the highest standards of ingredient quality.

The Ready to Cook Series is curated by Chef Freddie Salim, Chef Owner of Silk Bistro and Silk Thai, who is also an Aussie Beef Mate. Drawing on his extensive experience in cross-cultural gastronomy, Chef Freddie presents three menus that are easy to prepare at home yet rich in flavour: Beef Schnitzel with Mushroom Sauce, Pad Kra Pao, and Beef Green Curry with Pumpkin. These dishes were carefully selected to highlight the tender and juicy characteristics of Australian beef while offering flavour profiles that resonate with urban consumers.

Each Ready to Cook Series menu is packaged complete with selected Australian beef cuts, complementary ingredients according to the recipe, and clear cooking instructions printed on the back of the packaging. For a more interactive cooking experience, consumers can also scan the QR code on the pack to access cooking video tutorials directly from Chef Freddie Salim. This approach enables consumers to recreate restaurant-style dishes at home, especially during moments of togetherness with family throughout the holiday season.

The official launch of the Ready to Cook Series, held at Ranch Market Palazzo Plaza Senayan, was further enlivened by a live cooking demonstration by Chef Freddie Salim. During the session, Chef Freddie demonstrated how easy it is to prepare the ready-to-cook menus using Australian beef and showcased how the quality of Australian beef supports flavour and consistency in every dish. Visitors were able to watch the cooking process firsthand, sample the dishes, and gain inspiration to recreate the menus at home.
